How does it work? Once out of the airport, look for the tramway signs. Hop on the Tram A and head downtown. It’s the most picturesque way to discover the city while getting around.

- Key stops: Mérignac Centre, Hôtel de Ville, Palais Rohan.
How does it work? On leaving the airport, look for the signs for “Bus 1”. This bus will take you through Bordeaux’s main thoroughfares and is ideal if you prefer a faster mode of transport than the streetcar.

How does it work? If you’re in a hurry, this shuttle is your best option. It leaves regularly from the airport and drops you off in the heart of Bordeaux. It’s a little more expensive than other public transport options, but it’s also the fastest.
